Tracy specialises in medico-legal matters involving health professionals, including regulatory matters, civil claims, coronial investigations, and Medicare investigations. In recent times she has explored the impact of the use of AI in relation to the provision of healthcare.

Having spent over 10 years working for Australia’s largest medical indemnity insurer, Tracy is aware of the medico-legal issues which can have a significant impact on doctors and she seeks to offer practical and responsive solutions. As a former director of the Queensland Doctors’ Health Programme, she is aware of the significant impact that claims and complaints can have on medical professionals and therefore seeks to minimise that impact where possible by providing timely and pragmatic advice.

'Doctors are special people and provide essential care to our community. I find it very rewarding to support them with their medico-legal concerns.'

Tracy provides timely, practical, and strategic advice tailored to the issues affecting her clients. Drawing on her understanding of the healthcare sector, she carefully balances the clinical, regulatory, commercial, and stakeholder considerations that often arise in contested matters. Her pragmatic approach helps clients achieve outcomes that are both commercially workable and aligned with their broader objectives.
