Toby Biddle

Toby is a Principal in our Insurance & Health team and is based in the Sydney office.

With over 20 years’ experience, Toby focusses on disputes in the healthcare, life sciences and consumer goods sectors, in addition to advising on product liability, professional liability and general liability risks in other industries.

Toby acts for healthcare and consumer product manufacturers, corporate and individual healthcare providers, and insurers in both defence and coverage matters. He has acted in some of the most significant product liability and healthcare class actions in Australia over the past decade and advises clients in individual product and medical malpractice actions, regulatory investigations, inquests, and commissions of inquiry.

Toby has represented clients in the High Court, the Federal Court, NSW Supreme Court, ACT Supreme Court, Western Australia Supreme Court, South Australia Supreme Court, State and Territory Coroners Courts, and various other Federal and State Tribunals.

Toby is a decorated product liability, insurance and healthcare disputes lawyer.
