Reece Burton
Senior Associate

Reece specialises in wills and estates, with a particular focus on complex estate planning and estate administration. He acts for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, advising on holistic succession and asset protection strategies, including arrangements involving trusts, private companies and self-managed superannuation funds.
Reece has more than five years post admission experience in wills and estates. He has managed estate planning and administration matters independently and his experience spans probate and administration applications, including reseals of cross-border and foreign jurisdiction grants, as well as supporting contested estate proceedings and NCAT guardianship and financial management matters. Reece works closely with accountants, tax specialists, and financial advisers to deliver integrated succession, taxation, and asset protection solutions.
'I enjoy working alongside clients and their families at what are often significant moments in their lives. Estate planning is deeply personal, and I take pride in helping clients protect what they have built and provide for the people that matter most to them.'
Reece takes the time to understand each client's circumstances, family dynamics, and objectives before developing a strategy. He is a careful, technical drafter who manages matters proactively and communicates clearly, and he collaborates with his clients' other professional advisers to ensure estate plans are practical, coordinated, and robust. This integrated approach helps clients achieve tailored outcomes that protect their interests and reduce the risk of future disputes.
