Mariella Kapetina

Mariella is a Senior Associate in our Insurance & Health team and is based in the Sydney office.

Since her admission in 2013, Mariella’s practice has revolved around defendant insurance litigation. Her core area of expertise is professional indemnity, including:

• Financial lines
• Directors’ and officers’ liability
• Medical malpractice
• Employment practice liability
• Construction.

Mariella also handles some public and product liability matters.

Mariella has a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Sciences). She is a member of the Australian Insurance Law Association (AILA), the Claims Discussion Group, Young Insurance Professionals and Women in Insurance.
