Luke Bush

Luke is a senior associate in our Insurance & Health team and is based in our Melbourne office.

Luke specialises in:

• Professional indemnity
• Complex construction claims (including architects, engineers, building surveyors, D&C contractors)
• Health

Luke has extensive insurance law experience, specialising in financial lines work, with a particular focus on professional indemnity insurance. He regularly acts for local and overseas insurers in defending claims and responding to regulatory investigations made against a wide variety of professionals, in particular, in the construction and health sectors, including D&C contractors, building surveyors, architects, engineers, accountants, real estate agents and allied health professionals.

His experience extends to acting for insurers in coverage disputes and otherwise providing coverage advice.

Luke holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Legal Studies. He is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV), Australian Insurance Law Association (AILA) and Australian Professional Indemnity Group (APIG).
