Lucy is a Senior Associate in our Insurance & Health team and is based in the Sydney office.

Since her admission in 2017, Lucy has practised exclusively in financial lines working for both Australian and global insurers and various insureds. At BN, Lucy defends professionals across a wide range of disciplines, including directors and officers, solicitors and barristers, engineers, builders, certifiers, architects, auditors, accountants, and brokers. She advises in both defence and coverage matters, including policy interpretation and is experienced in acting as monitoring counsel.

Lucy specialises in class actions, both in Australia and the US, and has worked on most of Australia’s securities class actions. She has in depth experience in quantum analysis and settlement calculations. Lucy has acted in defence and a coverage monitoring capacity in regulatory investigations and proceedings, liquidator examinations and proceedings, complex coverage disputes, coronial inquests, and commercial litigation.

I work with my clients breaking down complex legal and commercial issues and converting them into cost-effective and practical solutions.'
Lucy represents clients in various litigated proceedings in the District Court, Supreme Court, Federal Court, and the High Court of Australia. She has also acted on behalf of clients in various royal commissions including the Royal Commission into Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services, Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety, and the Disability Royal Commission.
Lucy holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce.
