Lisa Hulcombe

Lisa Hulcombe is a Special Counsel in our Insurance & Health team and is based in the Brisbane office.

Lisa’s core areas of expertise are:

• Product liability
• Property damage claims (first and third party)

She also has experience in:

• Professional indemnity
• Investigations
• Recoveries

Lisa acts for a range of clients, including local authorities, owners and occupiers of residential and commercial premises, property developers and construction companies.

‘I enjoy the variety of work that I am exposed to in my practice and the challenges the matters present. I also like that my clients all know what’s happening in their matters; they really understand the issues involved and recognise the need to sometimes be flexible in the approaches taken in handling a claim.’

Lisa has been recognised in Best Lawyers for Insurance Law since 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (History). In December 2016 she graduated from the University of Queensland with a Masters of Laws (Advanced). Lisa is now undertaking a second Masters degree, this time in International Relations and International Law.
