Kim Nicolaidis

Kim Nicolaidis is the National Knowledge Manager of the firm and is based in the Brisbane office.

Kim was admitted to practise in 1988 having obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Australian National University. She practised exclusively in insurance law in the Sydney office of national partnerships, ultimately at Senior Associate level, specialising in professional indemnity litigation.

After taking extended leave to raise her two sons, during which time she obtained a Diploma of Professional Writing, Kim joined Barry Nilsson in October 2005 as the firm’s National Knowledge Manager.

Kim contributes to and edits various firm publications including Case Collective case notes, manages the firm’s library and research subscriptions, and also manages the CPD obligations, resources and events for professional staff.

Kim is an Associate member of the Queensland Law Society and a member of the Australian Law Librarians Association.
