Kiarah is a Senior Associate in our Family Law team and is based in the Brisbane office.
Kiarah specialises in:
- Complex parenting matters where the best interests of the children need to be considered amongst domestic and family violence, mental health concerns, substance abuse, difficult family dynamics and other complex issues
- Property settlement matters where bespoke solutions are required to best protect the long-term economic outcomes of her clients
- Resolving disputes using a multi-disciplinary approach with other experts
- Domestic and family violence litigation
- Utilising the Collaborative Law dispute resolution process.
Kiarah assists those facing separation and divorce to achieve success as they enter a new phase of life. Kiarah adopts an approach where she assists her clients to identify their goals and interests and supports them through the most effective dispute resolution for their circumstances. Kiarah’s clients regard her for her attentiveness and compassion whilst being a strong and successful advocate.

Kiarah has practiced exclusively in Family Law since her admission in 2018. Kiarah has assisted hundreds of clients in private practice and various volunteer positions.
Kiarah is regarded as being pragmatic, identifying the issues in each matter effectively so that unnecessary expense and stress for her clients is avoided, and having a considered and supportive approach.
Kiarah holds a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Government and International Relations, Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and a Master of Applied Laws (Family Law). She is accredited as an Independent Children’s Lawyer, evidencing her exceptional skill in complex parenting matters. Kiarah is qualified as a Collaborative Law Practitioner. She is a Board Member for the Queensland Associate of Collaborative Practitioners. Kiarah held the role of Vice President of Queensland Young Lawyers in 2022. She is a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland, Queensland Association of Collaborative Practitioners and Australian Association of Collaborative Practitioners.
Kiarah was named in the Lawyer’s Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards in 2023, winning the nationwide Family Law category. She was also a finalist in the Lawyer’s Weekly Women in Law Awards in 2018 and 2020.
