Kayla is a Senior Associate in our Insurance and Health team and is based in the Sydney office.

Kayla defends Queensland injury liability claims and is a member of our Public and Product Liability team in Brisbane.

Kayla has extensive experience in litigation and has represented a variety of insurers in institutional abuse claims and product and public liability. Kayla has also worked as an in-house lawyer for a national insurance practice focusing on knowledge management, legal technology, innovation and risk.

Kayla has a particular interest in indemnity and coverage issues and has extensive experience in the institutional abuse area in a range of claims involving religious institutions, juvenile justice centres, schools and out of home care.

Kayla takes a commercially minded approach to matters and ensure they are handled effectively with an agreed case management strategy and expeditiously where possible.
