Kathryn specialises in the defence of medical negligence claims, medico-legal disputes, and regulatory, disciplinary, and professional conduct matters involving healthcare professionals and organisations.

Kathryn acts for public and private hospitals, health services, medical practitioners and other healthcare professionals, drawing on her extensive litigation experience to deliver practical and strategic outcomes across the health sector.

Earlier in her career, Kathryn represented plaintiffs in complex insurance and commercial disputes, with a particular focus on total and permanent disability, income protection, and superannuation matters. She also practised in class actions, working on a diverse range of significant and large-scale proceedings, including claims arising from PFAS land contamination, the underpayment and withholding of wages from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workers, excessive superannuation premiums, and financial advice disputes.
