Jessica Pendlebury

Jessica is a Special Counsel in our Insurance and Health team and is based in the Brisbane office.

Jessica specialises in:

• Public & Product liability
• Complex property damage claims, including recoveries.
• Policy coverage issues.

Jessica has 13 years of experience in insurance law. She has acted in a number of multi-party construction disputes involving contractual indemnities and insurance provisions. She also has significant experience in claims arising in industries such as mining and gaming.

‘I enjoy the variety of matters which present themselves in the context of insurance litigation. No two claims are alike, and each new matter that comes across my desk requires a fresh approach. I also enjoy the opportunity to work collaboratively with both my clients and colleagues, and collegiality between the various insurance professionals we deal with on a day to day basis.’

Jessica is known for her collaborative approach to matters. This ensures that her clients are always kept in the loop, and that any potential hurdles are identified early in a matter. She takes a strategic and commercial approach, resulting in the best possible outcomes for her clients.

Jessica works with both insurers and self-insureds and has been instructed directly by a number of large corporations.

Jessica has a Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws majoring in Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution. She is a member of the Queensland Law Society.
