Felix Kalade

Felix is a Senior Associate in our Insurance & Health team and is based in the Brisbane office.

Felix specialises in:

• Government & Institutional liability claims
• Public liability
• Personal injury
• Subpoena litigation

Felix has multi-jurisdictional experience in personal injuries litigation with extensive experience in institutional abuse claims, subpoena litigation and public liability matters. Felix has particular experience acting for local and international insurers, as well as government agencies. He also advises on matters involving policy interpretation, discrimination and catastrophic injuries.

'What interests me most about working in insurance litigation is the intersection of law and human experience. Each case is incredibly complex and requires not only legal acumen, but also empathy and strategic thinking. It is incredibly rewarding to navigate these challenges on a day-to-day basis.'

Felix commenced his legal career in commercial litigation before gaining critical experience in Plaintiff personal injury law. Felix has practised exclusively in litigation and dispute resolution since commencing his practising career.

Felix has a reputation for undertaking extensive investigations into claims with a view of achieving a commercially favourable resolution, whilst also balancing the short-term and long-term interests of his clients.

Felix holds a Bachelor of Laws - LLB (Hons.). He is a member of the Australian Insurance Law Association.
