Emma specialises in medical negligence claims, health disciplinary investigations and proceedings, professional indemnity matters, and providing strategic policy coverage advice.

Emma’s recent experience includes acting for APHRA and several of the National Health Practitioner Boards in disciplinary referrals to QCAT. In addition, she has worked in house for a State Government department advising on statutory interpretation, procedural fairness, information privacy, and commercial contracts.

Emma is also experienced in defending professional indemnity claims against a variety of other professionals including solicitors, property valuers, accountants, and engineers.

With more than 15 years' expertise in insurance and commercial litigation, Emma acts for medical and allied health professionals, hospitals, and their insurers. Over the years she has acted for dentists, psychologists, doctors, physiotherapists, and other allied health professionals in negligence claims and disciplinary proceedings.
