Elika acts for medical practitioners, dentists, and allied health professionals such as nurses and physiotherapists in the defence of medical negligence claims across litigated proceedings, as well as regulatory complaints and disciplinary matters before a range of professional boards and regulatory bodies.

Prior to joining Barry Nilsson, Elika represented plaintiffs in medical negligence and historical abuse claims. This experience enables her to bring a valuable understanding of plaintiff strategies and approaches to claims, allowing her to anticipate risks and achieve strong outcomes for her clients.
