Dian Turner
Principal
Dian is a Principal in our Insurance and Health team and is based in our Melbourne office.
Dian’s areas of expertise are:
- Public and product liability
- Property damage including: complex construction claims, s157 and s16 Water Act claims, Victorian Building Authority plumbers warranty claims, demolition and protection works claims, and Recoveries
- Policy coverage advice
She has experience in subrogated recoveries and has defended third parties in WorkCover recovery proceedings pursuant to section 369 of the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 (Vic).
Dian advises both insurer and self-insured clients on indemnity, quantum and liability issues related to claims across a number of industries but particularly labour hire, construction & infrastructure, sport leisure & entertainment and manufacturing.

Dian Turner has been recognised as a Recommended Public & Product Liability Lawyer in the Victoria legal market in the 2022 edition of Doyle’s Guide.
Dian holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Honours). She is a member of Women in Insurance and the Australian Insurance Law Association. Dian has previously served as president of Women in Insurance Victoria.
