He has particular legal expertise, including advocacy and strategic litigation in:

  • Human rights

Cameron’s specialist legal skills focus on preventing evictions into homelessness, including for First Nations community members, advocating for domestic and family violence victim-survivors, and addressing financial and health legal needs related to vulnerability, along with human rights-based negotiations, administrative review, judicial review, and appeals.

Prior to joining BN, Cameron worked extensively in senior leadership and principal lawyer roles in the pro bono and legal assistance sectors, collaborating closely with other leading Australian law firms, along with the government, philanthropic, and community sectors.

'Throughout my career, I have continued to responsively think about how to meet the rising priority legal needs of vulnerable people across Australia, and to achieve increased collective impact.
