Alexandra has experience in a variety of matters including claims involving the National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland, Workers' Compensation recovery, and disputes concerning liability and indemnity.
She frequently advises on statutory reimbursement disputes and challenges to recovery actions or potential charges on damages brought by Workers Compensation insurers under the Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 (Qld).

Alexander began her career in personal injury law, working at Queensland’s largest Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurer. In this role she managed a wide range of claims, including complex and catastrophic injuries, gaining valuable insight into the intricacies of insurance litigation and a clear understanding of the expectations of insurers.
A notable career highlight includes her involvement in the Supreme Court trial of Baldock-Davis v Popham [2023] QSC 24, a significant case that highlighted the importance of credibility in personal injury claims and conducting extensive surveillance, investigations and evidentiary analysis.
