Amanda Emonson
Senior Associate

Amanda is a Senior Associate in our Insurance and Health team and is based in the Melbourne office.
Amanda has practiced exclusively in insurance since commencing her career, with a focus on personal injury litigation.
Amanda specialises in personal injury claims, including both public liability matters and claims brought under the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 (Vic). She has extensive experience representing clients in the County and Supreme Court of Victoria, as well as non-litigated claims. Her portfolio has a particular focus on acting for national insurers and insureds in the building and construction industry. She also has a diverse range of experience representing facilities managers, abattoirs/meat processors, energy providers, and claims involving injuries sustained in the course of recreational activities.
'I love working in personal injury as every case has its nuances and complexities, from a slip and trip to a multi-party litigated matter. Each case is unique and requires a tailored analysis and strategy.'
Amanda takes particular pride in establishing trusted relationships with insured clients, taking the time to explain the complicated litigation process and understanding their processes. She believes this approach results in comprehensive understanding of the claim circumstances and basis in which a claim can be defended.
