Winner announced for the 2022 Next Gen Insurance Leader Award

Barry Nilsson and Young Insurance Professionals are thrilled to announce the winner of the 2022 Next Gen Insurance Leader Award. Congratulations to Vicky Zhang from NTI Limited for taking out the title, along with a $5,000 cash prize.

Now in its fourth year, the Next Gen Insurance Leader Award recognises business and leadership potential, and encourages and supports the development of young insurance professionals throughout Australia and New Zealand.

The submission guidelines provided the opportunity to celebrate diversity of age and thought, and tackled some of the key issues that face our industry, such as climate change, artificial intelligence and emerging technology, corporate social responsibility and more. Amongst a strong group of finalist submissions, Vicky produced an impressive analysis of how companies utilise divergent skills of humans and machines to enhance business processes, customer interaction and data security.

Congratulations also goes to this year’s finalists, Ben McCallum (WTW) and Mitchell Lee (BN) for their remarkable submissions exploring how the industry, government and others can manage and respond to the heightened risk of natural disasters.
